Washington: The White House has said that "time and patience" of the international community is fast running out and Obama Administration is working with its other partners to impose additional sanctions on Tehran.
"It is clear that the continuing announcements and
pronouncements that were made in Iran demonstrate that they
have no interest in building international confidence that
their nuclear programme was for peaceful mean," White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said.
"Continuing to take those steps and shirk their
responsibilities, the President and our allies have said, will
lead to consequences. That is a process that`s ongoing," he
told reporters yesterday.
The White House Press secretary said that the
comments by the US and the Russians and others indicated that
the "time and patience was running out."
