Turkey PM Erdogan arrives at mine collapse site

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived at the site of a mining accident that has killed at least 205 people and left potentially hundreds trapped in one of the country`s worst ever industrial disasters.

Erdogan travelled to the site in Soma district in western Turkey, where a large crowd of families and mourners have gathered since an explosion on Tuesday caused parts of the mine to collapse.
Nurettin Akcul, head of Turkey`s mining union, told AFP there were between 100 and 150 people still in the mine.
