Abu Dhabi: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Italy have held talks over relations between the two countries and also about international developments.
The meet was participated by UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and visiting Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti and other officials of both sides.
They also stressed at the need to strengthen international understanding and cooperation to enhance security and stability in the Gulf region, the Middle East and the world as a whole, within the framework of international resolutions.
