London: A girl aged 12 years and three months has given birth to her 13-year-old boyfriend`s baby, making them youngest parents in the United Kingdom.
The girl, who is still in elementary school, conceived in final summer time after having a year-long relationship with her boyfriend. The boy resides next to the girl`s house.
The identity of the girl has been confined due to legal reasons. The school girl has become the UK’s youngest mother, after giving birth to a 7-pound baby on Sunday.
Both the families have been supportive to the youngest parents and have decided to bring up the child together.
The girl`s father has rejected any plans of the couple getting married. However, the father said he was proud of her daughter and he doesn`t feel ashamed of her.
