UK cop prefers sex over attending emergency calls

A police driver ignored his duty while having sex with his lover.

London: A police driver trained to respond emergency calls, ignored his duty while having sex with his lover, and has now been penalised with a nine-month sentence.

Tim Reid, 41, a high-response police driver from Cheshire, was having sex at his lover`s house when he ignored emergency calls.

Reid is married with one child.

The Minshull Street Crown Court in Manchester was told that Reid even failed to respond to a call about a man who threatened to throw a petrol bomb.

The judge told Reid that he was guilty of "complete foolishness".

Reid admitted misconduct in a public office and disclosing information, and was given a nine-month suspended sentence.
