Kiev: The Ukrainian leader Petro Poroshenko will be meeting his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on August 26 in Minsk and are expected to discuss the ongoing crisis in eastern Ukraine.
The high-level meeting will also be attended by leaders of European Commission and Eurasian Customs Union.
The confirmation of the meeting by the Ukrainian leader came on Tuesday even as 15 more bodies were recovered after an attack on a refugee convoy of buses and cars near the city of Luhansk.
Even as the search for more bodies is underway, both Kiev military and rebels indulged in blame game for the attack.
While Kiev military blamed the rebels, they denied taking responsibility of the attack.
Ukrainian government forces have been fighting separatists for four months in the Russian-speaking east of Ukraine. The rebels have set up `people`s republics` and said they want to join Russia.
Ukraine says Russia, which seized the Crimean peninsula in March after a pro-Western government took power in Kiev, has orchestrated the uprisings and is arming the rebels with tanks, missiles and other heavy weaponry. Moscow denies this.
