US captures satellite images of Chinese carrier

Washington: The first satellite image of
China`s lone aircraft carrier has been captured by an American
company as the warship was undergoing sea trials in the Yellow
Sea.

The Colorado based digitalglobe inc said that a clear
image of the 300-metre former Soviet Carrier had been captured
and made public.

The image shows the carrier steaming through the sea
without any aircraft.

China announced that the warship has started second round
of five days of sea trial after undergoing refurbishment and
testing.
