US, China hold Sub-Dialogue on Africa

The sub-dialogue focused on various political and economic issues.

Washington: The United States and China held their strategic Sub-Dialogue on Africa which focused on various political and economic issues including food security, trade and health programmes in the continent.
The Chinese delegation was led by its Vice Foreign Minister Zhijun, while American delegation was led by the Assistant Secretary for African Affairs, Johnnie Carson.
William Burns, the Under Secretary for Political Affairs, delivered the closing remarks.
