New York: A woman from Florida was left shocked when her romantic evening ended with her suitor pulling out a gun and jacking her car.

Nimeha Milien told WPBF.com that she feared for her life as her evening with Donald McGee, 19, quickly took a dramatic turn for the worst after he pulled out a 0.380-caliber Kel Tec handgun, the New York Daily News reported.

The 21-year-old told the website that she was glad to be alive because she wants to be able to make a difference in the world.

Milien said that she had never actually met McGee before their first date on Friday night but agreed to meet him after he started sending her text messages.

She soon picked him up at the intersection of Sheridan St. and 68th Ave. in Hollywood, where he asked her if they could go back to her place.

Refusing his proposal, she instead drove to the Ocean Inlet Park in Palm Beach County, where they went for a romantic stroll.

She later dropped him off at a Wendy’s on Boynton Beach Blvd. so his brother could pick him up.

But, on stopping the car, McGee allegedly took out a handgun and ordered her out, before jumping into the driver’s seat and speeding away.

Milien ran to a gas station, where a customer said he’d chase her assaulter as she called 911.

Cops trailed McGem for eight miles before catching him when he got the vehicle stuck in dirt and grass on a ramp on I-95.

The teen, who is being held at Palm Beach County Jail, was arrested and charged with armed carjacking, robbery with a firearm, possession of marijuana, driving without a license and fleeing police.
