Lakeland: A Lakeland family were left in a complete shock when they found that the backyard pool at their residence has attracted a 9-foot long alligator for a 'pleasant' bath.

According to ABC News, 38-year-old Craig Lear, the resident, believed that the bubbles emerging in the pool were due to the golf balls landing in the water from the nearby golf course. However, it turned out to be from the a menacing looking reptile.

Craig and his wife, who were taking care of their 6-month old child, then informed the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission department, who spent almost an hour to bring the reptile under their control.
