New Delhi: Innocent and ignorant of the world around them, children often ended up asking the most poignant questions. One could be trying to know the difference between a gun and a flower.
And when we see children as victims of any conflict, and how they involuntarily become a part of wars that were never their's which their parents and guardians wage for a so-called future so demarked by hatred and fanatism, the world becomes a living hell.
But not all hope is not lost, thanks to their posterity.
In a heart-warming scene captured during a memorial service near Paris' Bataclan concert venue, where ISIS attackers went on rampage killing as they wish, a father had a quaint conversation with his kid son, which was recorded by a reporter from the French TV show Le Petit Journal.
The father said during the course of the conversation said, “They might have guns, but we have flowers." Then, his son responded, “but flowers don’t do anything.”
