What`s in a name? Suu Kyi sticks to `Burma`

Aung San Suu Kyi also calls Yangon, Myanmar`s commercial capital, by its old name `Rangoon`.

Yangon: In sharp contrast to Myanmar`s nominally-civilian government`s stand, the country`s opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi appears to stick to its former name `Burma`.
Not just that, she also calls Yangon, the country`s commercial capital, by its old name `Rangoon`.
All through her remarks at the joint media interaction with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh here, Suu Kyi used the word Burma more than once and Rangoon once, raising the question once again "what is in a name"?
