Ramallah: A Palestinian investigation committee Friday said former Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat`s death was "unnatural", Xinhua reported.
"What the (Swiss and Russian) experts have concluded gets us closer to the truth, but it`s not the end of the way," said Tawfiq Al-Tirawi, the head of the investigation committee.

Tawfiq Al-Tirawi accused Israel of being behind the "assassination".

Swiss scientists, who analysed samples from the corpse of Arafat, Thursday confirmed the abnormal presence of radioactive polonium, but said poisoning remains a hypothesis, not a certainty.

Yaseer Arafat died at a French hospital near Paris in 2004. Palestinian officials hinted that Israel was behind the death.
