Yemeni forces kill at least 1 protester in capital

The total death toll in nearly 2 weeks of protests adds up to at least 12.

Sanaa: Government supporters and police in
Yemen have shot and killed at least one demonstrator while
trying to dismantle a protest camp in the capital.

That brings the death toll in nearly two weeks of
protests to at least 12. The demonstrators are demanding an
end to President Ali Abdullah Saleh`s 32 years in power and
complaining of corruption and poverty.

That brings the death toll in nearly two weeks of
protests to at least 12. The demonstrators are demanding an
end to President Ali Abdullah Saleh`s 32 years in power and
complaining of corruption and poverty.

The government`s forces failed to dislodge the
protesters, and thousands more were heading there today in
support, including academics, writers, artists and scholars.
