Narendra Modi’s role will be discussed in due course: Arun Jaitley

New Delhi: Senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley said on Thursday that what role Narendra Modi will take in future at the national level will be discussed in due course of time. Talking to CNN-IBN, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha said, “Modi is one of our important national leaders. However no party takes knee jerk decisions.” On Modi’s personality Jaitley said, “The Gujarat CM is very competent and his leadership has a lot of charismatic appeal.” He added that Modi had displayed his capacity and his track record in governance is good.” Even though he was evasive on the question of Modi as BJP’s prime ministerial candidate, Jaitley conceded that party workers across the country had a lot of support for him and that the Gujarat CM had conclusively established himself with an emphatic win.
