Agartala: With barely a week to go for Tripura Assembly polls 2018, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath landed in the state on Monday for a two-day visit. Adityanath will join party chief Amit Shah in BJP's poll campaign.

The UP Chief Minister held a massive roadshow from Dharmanagar to Jubarajnagar in Tripura. Tweeting about the same, the official BJP handle of Tripura shared:

“Huge Celebrations on the roads in Dharmanagar during Sh.@myogiadityanath Ji's road show connotes the mood of people of Tripura. People yearning for freedom from dark era of Manik Sarkar. People deserve govt. of development. People deserve BJP,” added the party on Twitter.

Shah also addressed a public meeting in Takarjala, West Tripura. “The massive support for BJP across the state ensures a new era of development is about to begin in Tripura under the central leadership of PM Narendra Modi,” he wrote on Twitter.

Earlier today, Shah hit out at the ruling CPI-M government. "Next government in Tripura will be of the BJP. There is anger against the CPIM govt throughout the state, because of their misrule Tripura stands last, when it comes to development," Shah said.
