WWE superstar Brock Lesnar announces retirement from all UFC competitions

New Delhi: Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) on Wednesday confirmed the news about former heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar's retirement from Mixed Martial Arts.

Brock had taken a similar decision almost six years back, when he announced his retirement in 2011, until 'The Beast incarnate' (as referred to as in WWE) made a comeback in UFC 200 to defeat Mark Hunt. However, the results were dismissed following his failure to clear two dope tests. He was tested positive for estrogen blocker, which he had denied consuming. This was followed by a year long ban.

Amid all these, the WWE superstar announced his retirement from all UFC competition. Along with this, he is also free from the USADA wrestler's tests, which conducts yearlong doping tests for wrestlers.

The 39-year-old will be however active with his WWE appearances. Come April, Lesnar will be up against Goldberg in Wrestlemania 33, to avenge his defeat last November at Survivor Series.
