New Delhi: Bollywood actor Anupam Kher, who will be essaying the role of the ex-Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singh, shared a behind the scene video from the sets of his upcoming film 'The Accidental Prime Minister.'

Taking to Instagram, Kher wrote, "On the sets of #TheAccidentalPrimeMinister somebody quietly shoots a candid moment between @suzannebernert playing #MrsSoniaGandhi and I having tea & biscuits and shares it on social media. Now it is already on tv channels. So the best option is to share it myself. So here it is. Enjoy.#DrManmohanSingh @tapmofficial @sunil_s_bohra @vijay.gutte #LastDayShoot #CrowdScenes #SocialMediaLife."

In the video, Kher looks like a splitting image of Manmohan Singh as he sips tea with Suzanne Bernet who essays Sonia Gandhi's role in the film.

The film is based on a book by Sanjaya Baru, a former media advisor to Manmohan Singh. Akshaye Khanna features as Baru, and Divya Seth Shah plays Manmohan Singh's wife Gursharan Kaur in the movie.

It is directed by debutant Vijay Ratnakar Gutte, along with Hansal Mehta as the creative producer.

The script of 'The Accidental Prime Minister', produced by Bohra Bros, is written by Mayank Tewari. It is slated to release on December 21.
