New Delhi: Bollywood's Desi Girl Priyanka Chopra took the internet by storm by sharing pictures from her sangeet ceremony on Sunday. The actress tied the nuptial knot on December 1 with international singing sensation Nick Jonas at Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur. As per reports, the couple has struck a 2.5 million deal with an international magazine for the wedding pictures. This is why no pics or videos from the wedding have made their way to social media yet.

So, when Pee Cee shared pics from the sangeet ceremony, it was a big deal and made fans go gaga over them!

Along with sharing pics from the ceremony, Pee Cee wrote, “ Along with this, the caption reads, “ It all began as a fierce song & dance competition between the families but ended, as always, as a huge celebration of love. Nick and I were looking forward to the Sangeet (musical evening), another pre-wedding ritual., and to see what each side had put together. And what a performance it was. Each family telling our stories through song and dance, filled with lots of laughter and love. We were both filled with gratitude for the effort, the love and the laughter and will carry the memories of this special evening for the rest of our lives. It is an amazing start to a lifetime of togetherness for our families and friends.. #grateful”

The year 2018 saw a wedding boom in Bollywood with more and more celebs declaring their love for one another by tying the knot.

Pee Cee and Nick made their relationship as well as engagement official by sharing pictures from their roka ceremony in August this year. Things have escalated quickly for the two as it was only last year that reports of them dating each other had surfaced.
