'Grammar Nazi' takes a dig at Twinkle Khanna, author's response is epic

New Delhi: We all have that one friend who would correct our grammar and take pride in it. Commonly referred to as a grammar nazi, here's what happened when one of them dared to mess with Twinkle Khanna aka Mrs Funnybones.

It all began when Twinkle had shared an inspiring message on Twitter which said-

“Something I learned from a scientist today: Each time someone puts a hurdle in your path-thank them, it's the hurdle that makes you take a leap!”

However, looks like a 'grammar nazi' had a problem with Twinkle's post.

He commented-

'Learnt. You’re a writer'

To this, the actress-turned-author replied-

'Learned and learnt are alternate forms of the past tense and past participle of the verb learn. I hope you learned something today:) Cheers!'

Well, this teaches us to always verify our facts before bringing something up on social media.

Twinkle has always been a favourite when it comes to trollers but the author also knows how to handle them. Not very long ago, Twinkle was trolled for a picture in which her foot appeared to be rested on books.

Mrs Funny Bones later on clarified that her foot isn't resting on the books, it is a stool instead.
