Janhvi Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor and sisters trolled for posting a 'smiling' family pic post Sridevi's death

Sridevi was cremated with full state honours at the Celebration Sports Club Garden No. 5, Lokhandwala Complex, Andheri West on February 28, 2018.

New Delhi: Social media can be a really mean place at times. People sometimes lose their sanity and post nasty comments about celebrities without thinking much about how it could affect them. In a similar case, Instagram users trolled Janhvi Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor and other sisters for their recent picture.

Why? Well, Sonam shared a 'happy' picture of 'Kapoor and daughters' posing and smiling as they celebrated Janhvi's 21st birthday. And troll army blasted them for being 'insensitive' and posting happy pictures after Sridevi's demise.

Some comments were mean and plain distasteful. However, some fans showed their support and bashed the mean gang. While some tried to troll the Kapoor girls, their fans and supporters gave it back to the trolls and backed the stars.

A few users were quick to pass judgements and say that they could have waited for some time while others tried to explain saying “what's wrong with it if they trying to brighten up the life of a girl who just lost her mum”.

This is not the first time that trolls have targetted Bollywood celebs, in fact, a few days back Arjun Kapoor's sister Anshula shut the trolls for not commenting anything nasty about her sisters.

Legendary actress Sridevi breathed her last on February 24, 2018, in Dubai where she had gone to attend the wedding of actor-nephew Mohit Marwah. The world lost a gem and the void created by her death will never be filled.

The superstar died around midnight leaving her family and friends in a state of shock. Sridevi was cremated with full state honours at the Celebration Sports Club Garden No. 5, Lokhandwala Complex, Andheri West on February 28, 2018. Her mortal remains were wrapped in tri-colour and her entire family was in a state of grief.

The Kapoor Khandaan stood together like a rock in times of crisis.
