New Delhi: The much-in-love couple Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are set to tie the knot in a lavish wedding at Jodhpur's Umaid Bhawan Palace. The couple dated for almost a year before they decided to solemnise their relationship.

In a recent interview with American Vogue, both Priyanka and Nick revealed details of how they got together, including the incredibly romantic way they got engaged. As per Jonas, he proposed to his lady love just after three dates, during PeeCee's birthday trip to the Greek island of Crete.

The pair first set eyes on one another at the Vanity Fair Oscar's party in 2017, where Jonas got on one knee in front of a bunch of people and said, "You're real. Where have you been all my life?" The singer explained that the couple then texted for a while, before attending the Met Gala in May, where they were both dressed in Ralph Lauren and posed on the red carpet.

"I got down on one knee, again, and I said, 'Will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me?' No joke, she took about 45 seconds. Forty-five seconds of silence," the American singer said. On not receiving the answer, Nick told her, I'm going to put this ring on your finger now unless you have any objections."

It is to be noted that Jonas had shut down a Tiffany & Co. store in London to pick out the ring for her.

Soon after, Nick arrived in Mumbai to meet Priyanka's mother Madhu Chopra and the couple announced their relationship with a traditional Roka ceremony.

Priyanka and Nick are set to enter the matrimony on December 2, 2018.
