Actress Alia Bhatt, who recently returned from Bulgaria after shooting for the second schedule of Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra', has been using her free time to spend with her close ones. And on Sunday, the actress was snapped heading out for a lunch date with her mother Soni Razdan, on the occasion of Friendship Day. The 'Raazi' actress and her mother were accompanied by their friends Akanksha Ranjan Kapoor and Anu Ranjan and were spotted emerging from Yauatcha in Bandra, which is a popular restaurant in the area. Alia looked in a jovial mood in the company of her mother and was all smiles as she caught clicked by the paps. 

Alia is known for her comfortable-chic looks and this time too, she hogged the limelight in a basic white tee and distressed demin. Her nude-colourded strappy heels and grey sling bag added to the look.

Alia even took to Instagram to share a photo from her lunch date, captioning, "2 + 2 friends = 1 loud lunch #happyfriendshipday .

It is to be noted that the mother-daughter duo was recently seen sharing screen space together in the blockbuster, 'Raazi'. Soni had essayed the role of Alia's on-screen mother in the film.

Alia has always maintained her fondness for her mother and how they have been through thick and thin together as a family, which includes dad Mahesh Bhatt and sister Shaheen Bhatt. She is also close to her step-sister Pooja Bhatt and shares a close bond with her. 

 

On the professional front, Alia will next seen in Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra' opposite rumoured boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan. She is also a part of Zoya Akhtar's 'Gully Boy', Abhishek Varman's 'Kalank' and Aanand L Rai's 'Zero'.
