Cong denies plan to seek rotational chief ministership in J&K

New Delhi: Congress, which is in power in Jammu and Kashmir in an alliance with National Conference, today said that it was not planning to demand rotational chief ministership after three years.

Denying media reports in this regard, Congress General Secretary in-charge of the state Prithvi Raj Chauhan said, "There is no move for any change in Jammu and Kashmir."

"These reports are mischievous," he said.

Some media reports had said that Congress might review the situation in Jammu and Kashmir and seek appointment of its candidate as Chief Minister on rotational basis for three years.
