Man City won’t accept cut-price deal for Tevez
London: Manchester City has told captain Carlos Tevez that if any club wants to sign him they will have to pay manager Roberto Mancini’s original 50 million pounds asking price.
Inter Milan, Real Madrid and Juventus are all back in the hunt for Tevez after his proposed 40 million pound move to Brazilian club Corinthians collapsed.
City had lowered their initial 50 million pound asking price because Tevez made it clear that he wanted to return to South America to be close to his estranged wife and daughters.
The club has now told the striker’s advisers that the Corinthians deal was a one-time offer made on compassionate grounds, a daily reports.
