Pakistan's chief of defence staff to visit US
Islamabad: General Khalid Shameem Wynne, chairman of Pakistan's Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, will attend the Chief of Defence Staff Conference in Hawaii, US.
The conference is hosted by the US military's Pacific Command. The conference provides an opportunity for bilateral consultations on security issues, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement on Thursday.
General Wynne will hold discussions with Admiral Willard, commander of US Pacific Command, on the sidelines of the event, the official APP news agency reported.
He will also meet chief of defence Canada, Japan, Malaysia, Nepal, New Zealand, Singapore, Sri Lanka and vice chief of defence Australia.
