South Indian History Congress session from Feb 3
Chennai: The 32nd session of the South Indian
History Congress will be held between February 3 and 6 at the
University of Madras here.
The three-day session expects over 500-paper presentations
in political, social, economic, cultural and maritime
histories and archaeology from across the country, G
Venkataraman, Professor and Head, Department of Indian
History, University of Madras said.
A book on the trade relations between England and
Coromandel Coast during medieval times will also be
released during the session, he told reporters here.
