DMK will post thumping victory in bypoll: Alagiri
Tirunelveli: The DMK will register a thumping
victory in the forthcoming March 18 bypoll in Sankarankoil
constituency, Union Minister M K Alagiri has said.
Alagiri, who accompanied DMK candidate J Jawahar
Suryakumar during the filing of nomination papers yesterday,
told reporters that the party would win by a margin of nearly
20,000 votes.
The DMK would highlight the adverse impact of load-shedding
in the area, Alagiri, who is also the party's Southern Region
Organising Secretary, said.
