Teenager held for friends killing
Karimganj (Assam): A teenager was arrested
here today for allegedly killing his friend in Karimganj
district.
The teenager was arrested on charges of murdering his
17-year old friend Abdul Malik, a student of class nine,
in Ratabari town of the district, the police said.
Malik was found missing since Wednesday last and the next
day his body was recovered by local residents from a pond .
A jacket belonging to the boy was also found at the site.
The teenager also took away Rs 10,000 from Malik
after killing him, the police said.
