15 kg of heroin seized in Lalgola
Baharampore (WB): A huge quantity of heroin
worth Rs 15 crore in the international market was seized by
police today from Lalgola in Murshidabad district and four
persons arrested in this connection.
A police team in an early morning raid seized 15 kg of
heroin and arrested four persons in this connection, district
Superintendent of Police Humayun Kabir said.
Police also seized during the raid 146 kg o
f raw material
used for manufacture of heroin, Kabir said.
During the last one-and-half month, police had seized more
than 100 kg of of heroin in the district, the SP added.
