Two Tibetans set themselves on fire in China
Beijing: Two Tibetans set themselves afire in the Yushu Tibetan region in northwest China. One of them died later, officials said on Thursday.
The two set themselves ablaze on Wednesday in Kardo township of Trindu county in Qinghai province, Xinhua reported.
The dead man was identified as 22-year-old Tenzin Khedrup, an animal herder.
Officials were yet to identify the injured man, probably a migrant from the Aba Tibetan prefecture in southwest Sichuan province.
This was the seventh such case reported in Qinghai this year. Five people have so far died.
