Three students arrested for robbery in UP

Muzaffarnagar: Three students, including a constable's son, have been arrested here for their alleged involvement in a string of highway robberies, police said on Friday.

Gulfam, son of a Ghaziabad police constable, Ashish an MBA student and Amir were arrested yesterday, SSP B B Singh said.

The trio has confessed to robbing Uttarakhand IAS officer, Subhash Chand on the Delhi-Dehradun highway on July 21, SSP B B Singh said.

Stolen property has been seized from their possession, the SSP said.
