Three insurgents arrested in Manipur

Imphal: Three insurgents of major insurgent outfit Kanglei Yawol Kann Lup (KYKL) were arrested during a search operation in Manipur's interior Thoubal district, the police said on Sunday.

Commandos, attached to Thoubal district police, launched a manhunt at Thoubal Wangmataba area yesterday following reports of infiltration and movement of insurgents.

During the search operation, three KYKL members identified as P Boynao (21), S Aboicha (20) and N Sanathoi (18) were arrested, the sources said.
