Three killed in road mishap near Vadodara



Vadodara: At least three persons were killed and six others injured in a road mishap at Ganpatpura village on the city outskirts, police said Wednesday.

The incident took place in the wee hours today when the driver of a tanker lost control and collided with a jeep killing the victims on the spot, Police Sub Inspector (PSI) D B Bhura said.

The tanker driver fled from the spot after the mishap, he said.

The deceased have been identified as Shanti Rathwa, hailing from Vaghva village, Naiman Pathan from Savli and Gordhan Solanki from Kunvad village.

The injured, including the jeep driver have been shifted to SSG hospital here for advanced treatment, police added.
