Mumbai: Filmmaker Sagar Sinha is all set to helm a film titled Lahore Express, with an unusual story. Starring Aasim Khan and Ayaz Khan, the film will be produced by Samakhar Ali.
Lahore Express will be Sinha’s second film. His first film Chor No. 1 is being filmed and both his ventures will release one after the other. He is also the writer of both the films.
The film’s main unit wants to deliver a strong social message by highlighting issues that create disharmony is the society. They want people to get inspired by the message the film delivers and remain as cohesive unit.
During the launch of the film, the actors, producer, filmmaker and the music composer were seen breaking coconuts as a symbol of initiating a new venture.
The poster of the film features lead actor Aasim Khan. He is seen holding a weapon in his hand.
The film’s music will be composed by Avinash Jha aka Ghunghroo and will have songs sung by Alok Kumar.
On being asked what made him produce the film, Samakhar Ali said that he likes doing unique things in life. He found the concept, idea and story of Lahore Express interesting and hence decided to bankroll the film.
The makers of the film said that though there have been a number of films based on India and Pakistan’s relationship, Lahore Express will have something new to offer.
