Mumbai: SS Rajamouli’s two-part visual effects extravaganza Baahubali, set in the backdrop of a fictional ancient Indian kingdom, made Telugu superstar Prabhas a national icon of sorts. The hunk of an actor is a household name in India and equally popular across the globe now.

As Amarendra Baahubali in the second half of the magnum opus – Baahubali: The Conclusion, Prabhas romanced Anushka Shetty (who played Devasena). His chemistry with the stunning beauty set the silverscreen ablaze and his jodi with Tamannaah Bhatia (who essayed Avantika) in Baahubali: The Beginning was magical. As Baahubali, Prabhas displayed a variety of emotions and moviegoers loved every bit of his performance.

He is all set to make a splash on the silverscreen with Sujeeth Reddy’s Saaho, a ground-breaking action film that promises high-octane stunts and VFX sequences. The film is currently being shot at various locations simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi reports suggest. The film stars Bollywood stars Shraddha Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Panday and Mandira Bedi too. But is Saaho Prabhas’ first Hindi film? Well, not really.

According to a report in a leading daily, Prabhas opened up about his plans to do a Bollywood film.

“I watch a lot of Hindi films. I live in Hyderabad, where 60 percent of the people speak Hindi. I am getting good offers from Bollywood. I had okayed a script three years ago. It is a love story that I will do post Saaho.”, he said.

“I made a good association with Karan Johar. If I want anything, I think I can ask him. He has helped us a lot. In fact, I met some actors (from Bollywood) in Karan’s house. They were all very chilled out,” Prabhas added.
