Thalapathy Vijay's Sarkar teaser creates record on YouTube, gets 1 million views in 5 hours

New Delhi: The makers of Vijay-starrer 'Sarkar' on Saturday released the film teaser in Chennai amidst great fanfare. As expected, the teaser has left the fans go gaga over the dialogues, stylish execution and mass flavour of the film.

The 'Sarkar' teaser has gone viral on the YouTube and has received over one million likes within five hours of its release, which is a huge feat for the makers. 

Watch the teaser below and see if it leaves you too impatient to catch the film in your nearest theatre.

The fans of the actor too were quick to point how the film teaser took only few hours to get 1 million like while the Avengers Infinity War got it in a day.

Besides Thalapathy Vijay, the film stars Keerthy Suresh, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Yogi Babu and Radha Ravi in lead roles and has been directed by AR Murugadoss. As per reports, Vijay's character in the film is said to be inspired by Google CEO Sundar Pichai. He comes back to his country register his vote in the ongoing election. However, when he realises that his vote has been misused, he is forced to take some drastic decisions.

The film will release across theatres during Diwali, 2018.
