Los Angeles: Inspired after meeting Ellen DeGeneres on her show, presenter Jimmy Kimmel cooked pancakes for his two-and-a-half-year-old daughter Jane in the shape of Dory, to whom she lent her voice as the protagonist in the 2016 animated film, "Finding Dory".

The 49-year-old, who will be hosting the Oscars 2017, took to Twitter where he posted a series of pictures where he could be seen preparing the breakfast for his excited little one.

"Dear @TheEllenShow, I made my daughter #Dory pancakes to celebrate seeing you today," Kimmel tweeted, as he had appeared on her show to talk about his upcoming Oscars-hosting gig.

To this DeGeneres jokingly replied, "That is crazy. I made Portia (her wife) @JimmyKimmel pancakes this morning."

Kimmel has one child along the way with second wife Molly McNearney.

He also has two children - daughter Katie, 26 and son Kevin, 23 from his previous marriage with Gina Kimmel.
