New Delhi: Charging your handset while riding a two-wheeler has now become a reality, thanks to a engineering student from Chennai.

Mechanical engineering graduate, Aman Arun has invented a 'Power Aid' that can allow you to charge your mobile phone on a motorbike without the help of a power bank.

The 23-year-old said that he was inspired by his classmate to come up with such a device.

“The Power Aid is meant for motorcycles and mopeds and requires a reserve potential energy from ignition to transfer the power to a mobile phone. The product is cost effective,” said the young entrepreneur.

He further says that the device is compact and needs to be attached to the handle of the bike and then connected to the ignition system of the engine.

The good thing about the charger is that it can charge the mobile even when the engine is off.
