So, here we come to the end of Day 5 of the Asian Games 2014 at Incheon. With 12 medals (1 Gold, 1 Silver & 10 Bronze) India are placed at the 14th spot. Day 6 is going to be an important day for India as they are expected to win medals in shooting, squash and many other events. Meanwhile, China as expected are at the top in the medal tally with 57 gold medals followed by Korea and Japan. 

17:30 IST: Ohh! Hard luck for Indian women vaulter, Dipa Karmakar, who eventually finished 4th in the gymnastics artistic event. 

17:14 IST: So far India have won 12 medals (1 Gold, 1 Silver & 10 Bronze) and are placed at the 14th spot.

17:04 IST: Boxer Akhil Kumar won his bout against Lama Purna Bahadur of Nepal by a TKO.

In the women's doubles, Pradnya Gadre-N. Siki Reddy and got the better of Nepal's Sichhya Shrestha-Punam Gurung. They will meet Japanese pair of Miyuki Maeda-Reika Kakiwa in Round of 16 later today.
