Melbourne: China’s Li Na beat Maria Sharapova in straight sets to enter the final of the Australian Open on Thursday.
The 30- year old beat the World number two 6-2, 6-2 in a match that lasted 1 hour and 33 minutes.
Shrapova had dropped only nine games in five matches on her way to the semi-finals.
The Chinese will now face either defending champion Victoria Azarenka or 19-year-old American Sloane Stephens in Saturday night`s final.
