Bhopal to get cricket stadium of international standard
Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association would provide funds for construction of an international standard stadium here.
Bhopal Divisional Cricket Association President Dhruv Narayan Singh revealed this at a meeting of the BDCA Managing Committee on Friday.
After completion, the venue will be run by the BDCA, he said.
The Managing Committee also decided to end the five-year ban imposed on player Virendra Vaidya about six months back.
BDCA Chairman Arif Aqueel was among the 23 members present at the meeting.
It was also decided in the meeting that the work of registering all clubs would be done this year itself.
