Swimming: Daniel Tranter wins men's 200m medley. Athletics:It’s a Kenyan 1-2-3 in the women’s 10,000m – gold going to Joyce Chepkirui in a time of 32:09.35. She is followed by Florence Kiplagat and Emily Chebet in second and third respectively, Boxing: Manoj Kumar lost to Sam Maxwell(ENG) in Men's Light Welterweight division QF. Gymnastics: Dipa Karmakar scored 13.800 to qualify for Women's Vault Final in 7th place. Swimming: Lauren Boyle has won gold for New Zealand in the women’s 400m freestyle final. Jazz Carlin of Wales came second with Bronte Barratt of Australia in third. Gymnastics: Wales win a team medal for the first time (bronze), Australia take silver and England win gold by six marks. Australia recovered from their poor showing on the floor in the women’s team gymnastics to recover their form. Silver is a good result for them. Wrestling: Rajeev Tomar has stunned the Gold medal winner of the 2010 Commonwealth Games, Sinive Boltic from Nigeria to enter the semifinals in Men`s Freestyle 125kg. Tomar was down 0-2 down and came from behind to win 2-12. The good news keeps pouring in for India in wrestling. Wrestling: And more good news for the Indian wrestling contingent as Amit Kumar beats South Africa's Bokang Mansuyane to make the semifinals in Men`s Freestyle 57 kg. Wrestling: Sushil Kumar has just beaten his Sri Lankan opponent Kushan Sandrage in 66 seconds to reach semifinals in Men's 75kgMen`s Freestyle 74 kg event. Shooting: Harpreet Singh qualifies for 25m Rapid Fire Pistol with a score of 573 in first position. 2012 London Olympics silver medallist Vijay Kumar finished in seventh place, one position off the qualification mark with a score of 555 and failed to make it to the final. Breaking News: News just in that Nigerian teenager Chika Amalaha, who won a weightlifting gold medal has failed a doping test at the Commonwealth Games and has been provisionally suspended by the authorities. Amalaha had won a gold in the Women's 53 kg category. Chika Amalaha has become the first athlete to fail a drugs test at 2014 Commonwealth Games. Wrestling: Two-time Olympic medallist Sushil Kumar beats Australia's Jayden Lawrence to reach the quarter-finals in Men`s Freestyle 74 kg. Sushil beat his opponent convincingly by 11-0. Wrestling: Amit Kumar qualifies for the quarter-finals of the Men`s Freestyle 57 kg by beating Jean Bandoo(MRI) in Round of 16. Kumar pinned his opponent in just 48 seconds as he recorded an impressive win. However, Jyoti failed to beat B. Onyebuchi (NGR) in the Women`s Freestyle 75kg Nordic System Match. She lost by a fall. Shooting: Sanjeev Rajput is now up to 2nd place with 767 points while Gagan Narang has dropped one place to 6th in the 50m Rifle 3 Position Qualification. Shooting: Sanjeev Rajput has now moved to 3rd position while Gagan Narang is in fifth place in the 50m Rifle 3 Position Qualification. Today is the last day of Shooting events. All of India's big guns are in contention for medals. Shooting: Gagan Narang and Sanjeev Rajput will be in action at 13:00 IST in the 50m Rifle 3 Pos. Qualification. Yesterday, Narang, taking part for the first time in the 50 m rifle prone event picked up a silver medal. Lajja Gauswami and Elizabeth Koshy will represent India in the Women's 50m Rifle 3 Pos. Qualification 16:45 IST. Hockey: India take on Australia in the Men's Preliminary Match at 14:00 IST. On Day 6, India will be looking to add more medals to their tally in the shooting and wrestling events. After winning a Silver medal yesterday, Gagan Narang will feature again today, this time in the 50m Rifle 3 Positions event along with Sanjeev Rajput. 2012 London Olympics silver-medallist Vijay Kumar along with Harpreet Singh will compete in the 25m Rapid Fire Pistol event. Day 2 of the Trap event will comprise of two Indians in Manavjit Sandhu and Mansher Singh, while Lajja Gauswami and Elizabeth Koshy make up India`s challenge in 50m Rifle 3 Positions event. After a good show on Day 5, the boxers will be looking to advance in the semifinals of the Men`s events. Quarterfinal bouts of Manoj Kumar (64kg) and Sumit Sangwan (81kg) are scheduled today. Wresting events are also set to commence as two-time Olympic medallist Sushil Kumar heads the quest of Indian grapplers in Glasgow. He will feature in the Freestyle 74kg Round of 16. Rajeev Tomar, another key member of India`s wresting contingent is in action in the quarter-final of the Freestyle 125 kg category. But the scrapping of Greco-Roman category will certainly affect the country`s medal count. During the 2010 edition of the Games at New Delhi, the Greco-Roman wrestlers grabbed seven (four gold, one silver and two bronze) out of 19 medals won by India. In hockey, the Indians will be faced with a stiff task of upstaging the mighty Australians. That match is scheduled for 14:00 IST start.
