========================================================================= Glasgow: Indian wrestler Lalita had to settle for a silver medal after she lost to Nigeria's Odunayo Adekuoroye in Freestyle 53 kg at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games. Expectations were high from Lalita, but she was stunned by the Nigerian who required just 31 seconds to bag the gold! Lalita earlier cruised into the final with victory by fall over Scotland's S Hawke. The Indian was leading 5-0 when she pinned her opponent. Meanwhile another Indian wrestler Bajrang also won the silver medal after he lost to David Tremblay of Canada 1-12 in Men's 61kg Final. The fifth seeds from India brushed aside David and Wee Wern 11-8 11-5 for their second win in as many matches in Pool D. Pallikal and Chinappa face Megan Craig and Kylie Lindsay of New Zealand in their last league match later today. David is a legend of the game and on Monday retained her singles title at the Commonwealth Games. Wrestling: Satyawart Kadian becomes the fourth Indian wrestler to reach the final on Day 7 as he gets past England's Leon Rattigan in the Men's Free Style 97kg. The wrestling contingent is yet again the source of good news for India. Badminton: Parupalli Kashyap enters the Round of 16 in Men's Singles by beating Dakiel Thorpe 21-9 21-5. Navjot Kaur can't make it three finalists for India as she is beaten by Canadian Dori Yeats in Women's 69kg semi-final. But Bajrang makes up for it by beating Nigerian Amas Daniel to reach Men's Free Style 61kg final. He will take on Canada's David Tremblay for the gold medal. Wrestling: India-Nigeria double-header - Lalita will take on Odunayo Adekuoroye from Nigeria in the Women's Free Style 53kg category final. While Sakshi Malik faces Aminat Adeniyi in the final of the Women's Free Style 58kg category. Badminton: R.V. Gurusaidutt beats his Ugandan opponent Edwin Ekiring 21-13 21-11 to reach the Round of 16 in the Men's Singles. Lawn Bowls: More joy for India in the cross-border rivalry with Pakistan as Sunil Bahadur beats Mohd. Shahzad 20-18 in the Men's Singles. Wrestling: Satywart Kadian has now beaten Nigerian Soso Tamarau and entered the semi-finals of the Men's Free Style 97kg category. Meanwhile, Sakshi Malik makes it two finalists for India on Day 7 by beating Canadian Braxton Rei Stone in the Women's Free Style 58kg category. Table Tennis: Sanil Shetty/Manika Batra beat Barbados team of Trevor Farley/Sherrice Felix from Barbados 3-0 in the second round of the Mixed Doubles. The Indian duo won their match 11-2, 11-5, 11-3. They will face New Zealand in the Round of 32. Wrestling: Lalita pins her Scottish opponent Shannon Hawke in only 6 seconds to enter the Women's Free Style 53kg category final. Table Tennis: Another win for India over Pakistan as Soumyajit Ghosh/Poulomi Ghatak blank Tabish Khurshid/Abeera Sheikh 3-0 in the second round of the Mixed Doubles. India now face England in the Round of 32. Badminton: K. Srikanth gets past his Welsh opponent Daniel Font to reach Round of 16 in the Men's Singles. The Indian made light work of his match with a 21-8 21-13 win. Diving: Ramananda Kongbrailatpam's score of 294.95 is not good enough for him to progress beyond the Men's 1m Springboard Prelims. Bajrang has beaten South African opponent Marno Plaatjies in the Men's Free Style 61kg category with three roll overs to reach the semi-finals. Wrestling: Sakshi Malik beats Cameroon's Edwige Ngono and makes it to the semi-final of the Women's Free Style 58kg event. Athletics: Mayookha Johny fails to make it to the Long Jump final. Her best of 6.11 is not good enough to make the cut and she bows out with a 19th place finish. Discuss Throw: Vikas Gowda meets the automatic qualification mark with just one throw to go into the final. That was pretty impressive from the Olympian. Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa appear to be in good spirit ahead of their Women's Doubles Round of 32 match against Tinabora Tekeiaki and Teitiria Utimawa from Kiribati. That match is scheduled at 2200 IST .

Wrestling: Bajrang beats England's Sasha Madyarchyk 12-0 in Men's Free Style 61kg Round of 16 to enter the Quarter-finals where he will face Maarno Plaatjies of South Africa. In the Women's Free Style 53kg Quater-final Lalita has beaten South Africa's Madi Mpho to enter the semi-finals. Weightlifting: After Women's 53kg gold medal winner Chika Amalaha of Nigeria was suspended for failing a drugs test, Santoshi Matsa and Swati Singh get silver and bronze medals respectively. Wrestling: Satyawart Kadian has beaten Sri Lankan Manjula Uduwila Arachchige 10-0 in the Men's Free Style 97kg Round of 16. Meanwhile, Usain Bolt, who courted controversy after he allegedly said the Commonwealth Games were ****, responded through his official Twitter account:

Thulasi beats Sinead Chambers 21-10, 21-2 in the Women's Singles Round of 32 at the Emirates Arena and enters the Round of 16. Boxing: England's Savannah Marshall beats Pooja Rani in the Women's Middle (69-75kg) Round of 16 bout. Badminton: P.C. Thulasi wins the first game against Irish opponent S. Sindhu vs S le Grange (RSA) 2200 IST: Women's Doubles Round of 32 - Jwala Gutta/Ashwini Ponnappa vs Tinabora Tekeiaki/Teitiria Utimawa (KIR) Yesterday, two-time Olympic medallist Sushil Kumar spearheaded a sparkling show as Indian grapplers dominated the wrestling arena with three gold medals after the shooters ended their campaign on a rousing note with five more podium finishes on sixth day of competitions in the 20th Commonwealth Games. With 10 medals, including three gold, this was India's best show in this edition of the mega-event. Earlier, Indian shooters continued to dominate the Barry Buddon Centre with the unassuming Sanjeev Rajput and Harpreet Singh clinching a silver medal each but there was heartbreak for Olympic silver winner Vijay Kumar. Star marksman Gagan Narang had to be contend with a bronze while Manavjit Singh Sandhu and Lajja Gauswami, too, finished third on the podium, as the Indian shooting team finished with an impressive tally of 17 medals (4 9 4) from the Games. India's medals tally went up to 36 with 10 gold, 15 silver and 11 bronze, but they slipped a place to sixth after having regained the fifth position. With four wrestling events on Day 7, India will again look to dominate on the mat. S. Kadian, B Bajrang, L Lalita and S. Malik will all feature in their respective weight categories for India today. Men's boxing event will see all of India`s best boxer enter the ring in their quarter-final bouts. Vijender Singh, Devendro Laishram, Manpreet Jangra, and Amitpreet Singh will be looking to advance to the semi-finals in their weigh categories. Two of India's finest badminton players – P. Kashyap and P.V. Sindhu will be in action today in their Men's and Women's Round of 32 matches respectively. In Athletics, India can expect a strong performance from Olympian Vikas Gowda in the Men's Discuss Throw event.
