1st T20I: West Indies vs Pakistan – Scorecard

Zee Media Bureau

Scorecard and commentary from the first T20 international between West Indies and Pakistan at Arnos Vale Ground, Kingstown, St Vincent.

West Indies would be desperate to put up a good show after they lost the recently concluded ODI series to Pakistan. Pakisani bowlers troubled the Windies batsmen throughout the series and they successfully managed to pick the priced wicket of Chris Gayle without much damage. But the left-hander is altogether a different batsmen in the shortest form of the game and the Windies would be wary of the fact.

Pakistan on the other hand would be high on confidence and their only matter of concern should be their huge reliability on skipper Misbah-ul-Haq. Misbah scored three consecutive half-centuries that steadied the ship after a poor start. Even though the team management would want the Pakistani skipper to continue his good form, the other batsmen would want to perform and reduce the burden on their skipper.
