2nd Test: England's James Anderson reaches 450-wicket mark against Sri Lanka

New Delhi: England's premier bowler James Anderson achieved yet another feat in Test cricket by reaching the 450-wicket mark on Monday against Sri Lanka in the 2nd Test.

Anderson, who has been fine form with the ball, took the wicket of Rangana Herath to reach the mark.

Interestingly, Herath was dropped earlier as well off Anderson’s delivery.

At the moment, the pacer is on 6th spot on the list of bowlers with most Test wickets. But for England he is already the highest wicket-taking bowler.

Anderson, 33, recently surpassed former Indian skipper, Kapil Dev’s record of 434 wickets.

In the first Test of the ongoing series, Anderson scalped 10 wickets to play a crucial role in England's big win.

Even in the 2nd Test, he has picked eight wickets in two innings as England are all set to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.
