London: Former Australia wicketkeeper and legendary cricketer Adam Gilchrist asserted that he still place 'wicket-keeping' as the most important part of his international career.
Gilchrist believes that he hope to see glove work to be taken into consideration equally when selectors make a decision. According to him, glove work still requires getting larger attention , reported News.com.au.
He further said that he would not have been successful, if his batting hadn't clicked. One-day cricket has indeed brought in lot of changes with keeper opening the innings, he added.
Australian legend added that every cricketer now understand the value of being able to bat. Even fast bowlers could be seen batting these days, he added.
