"Young cricketers need to participate in the talent hunt contest to make the most of the opportunity given to them by Imran Khan," Afridi said while speaking at a talent hunt program initiated by Imran, whose party Tehreek-e-Insaf ruling the Khyber Pakhtunhwa province. On this occasion, Afridi praised Imran Khan for his positive initiatives in the province. Afridi, on this occasion, urged the people to stand by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in politics as well as in sports promotion. Imran has said that his government will construct a cricket stadium in each tehsil of Khyber Pakhtunhwa within the next months. He said this while speaking as chief guest on the occasion of inaugurating Imran Khan under 17 Talent Hunt Programme here in Arbab Niaz Stadium?on Saturday. Afridi was also present on this occasion. Imran said that KP government would fulfill its pre-poll promise of building a sports ground at very union council in one year. "We will select youth on the basis of their talent. No recommendation will be accepted at all," he said. The PTI chief noted that Federally-Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) have great sporting talent.
