Mumbai: As if the hype over the `mahayudh` and `eilan-e-jung` between India and Pakistan at Mohali wasn`t enough, there is more coming, with Saturday`s summit clash against Sri Lanka being dubbed as `Ram-Ravan war`.

A flurry of SMSes are doing the rounds about how Ram (India) takes on Ravan (Sri Lanka) in Saturday`s final at Wankhede stadium.

"Now the match is between Ram (India) and Ravan (Sri Lanka) on Saturday...... Is bar bhi Ram he Ravan ko harakar Sita (ICC world cup 2011 trophy) le ayenge," says one of the SMSes.

Congress MLC C Sapra organized a function here today where, according to him, people sought blessings of "Bhagwan Shri Ram and Hanuman for a win against Sri Lanka in finals."

"After all it was Shri Ram who trounced Lanka," he said

Congress workers also offered prayers at the Albela Hanuman Mandir and Ram Mandir near Wadala Bus Depot to seek divine intervention for India`s triumph.
