Porvorim: A cracking century by Akshat Reddy helped visitors Hyderabad take a 151 runs first innings lead over Goa on the second day of the Ranji Trophy Plate Division Group `B` clash on Wednesday.
Hyderabad were 298 for 6 in reply to Goa`s first innings score of 147, with Ibrahim Khaleel and Kanishk Naidu were batting on 34 and 15 respectively, when stumps were drawn for the day.
Resuming at an overnight team score of 61 for two, Akshat and B Sandeep added 141 runs for the third wicket to help the visitors surpass Goa`s total with ease.
Reddy, who was more aggressive of the two, belted the rival bowlers to all parts of the ground during his 241 ball knock during which he hit 17 fours and one six.
Sandeep supported him well scoring 68 in 195 balls with six hits to the fence.
For Goa, Saurabh Bandekar took 2 wickets for 77 runs while Ryan D`souza, Robin D`souza and Sherbahadur Yadav took one wicket each.
